Do you think the mini dance ninja would be up for a little visit from his Auntie Mack later? I haven’t gotten to see him for a few days. :)
Absolutely. Well, if Quinn says it’s cool. The little guy was sick so Quinn’s been pretty nuts lately.
Mack flew around Mike screeching happily before flying back to her own broom and transforming back into her normal self laughing as she did so. Sorry if I scared you there Mike. Mack leans back on her broom and smiles over at Mike. I needed this more than I thought it’s been really nice just flying with a friend.
No worries, that was so awesome.
It really has been fun. I needed it too. I’m glad I could distract you from…whatever you needed distracting from.
Mack’s grin was huge as she laughed with her friend, for the first time in weeks she felt like the carefree teenager she should be, up here off the ground she was able to forget everything that had been haunting her. Mack laughed as she followed Mike’s lead and carefully stood up on her broom. Check this out Mike! Mack then back flips off of her broom into a free fall speeding towards the ground before, just a few feet above the ground she transforms into her falcon form and rapidly flies back up to Mike doing a few loops around the Gryffindor and screeching happily.
As soon as Mike saw Mack diving towards the ground without her broom he panicked, quickly sliding to a normal position on his broom. Before he could even react further he watched Mack transform. He beamed as Mack flew around him, his laughter mixing with the sounds of Mack’s screeching. He had to admit, there was something beautiful in it.
Mack feels her broom jerk from Mike’s kick but quickly corrects her flight path before smirking over at him and pulling her broom into an almost 90 degree turn straight up and spinning over so that she was flying upside down right above him, waving at him playfully.

Mike cracks up, enjoying the feeling of being free on the broom and the joy Mack clearly showed. You ever try surfing, Harry Potter style? Mike flew out of Mack’s path and crouched on his broom before standing up straight, effectively surfing.
Hahahaha! All’s fair in love war and quidditch my friend!Flies down towards the ground only swerving back up smoothly at the last second leading Mike on long and fun chase around the pitch.
After a couple of circles around the pitch and under the stands, Mike playfully kicks at the end of Mack’s broom, knowing she’s skilled enough to get shaken by it but not fall.
I can just see you dancing around a whole bunch of alchemy ingredients.
That’s awesome Mike, so long as you’re happy that’s what matters. You’re already a super awesome dad. :)

Mike’s reflexes immediately help him to be right side up before he chases Mack down towards the pitch. Cheater!

Well…my mother already has a job lined up for me in the Ministry, something to do with relations between different countries in the wizarding world. My mother is also gonna start training me in earnest to take over for her as the head of my clan. So…I guess that’s what I’ll be doing. Tries to hide the slight bitterness in her voice at not getting a real say in her own future.
What about you? I know you’ve got Lucas and Quinn but what are your plans for after we graduate?
